PELS training provided incoming club leaders with an opportunity to enhance their leadership competencies, engage in self-reflection, and achieve personal and professional growth while networking with peers and it was a valuable resource for those in attendance to strengthen their leadership impact within their clubs and communities.
The Rotary District 7030 Conference 2025 was nothing short of epic-a vibrant celebration....
of service, fellowship, and Caribbean culture that brought Rotarians together for an unforgettable journey of inspiration and impact in the beautiful twin island of Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad and Tobago combines natural beauty, cultural richness, and economic vitality, making it an ideal and attractive location for conferences and international gatherings.

A Caribbean Welcome Like No Other
From the moment you arrived in sweet T&T, the energy was palpable. The conference venue buzzed with excitement as Rotarians, Rotaractors, and guests from across the district gathered under the warm island sun. The opening ceremony set the tone, blending traditional music, colorful performances, and heartfelt welcomes from district leaders. The spirit of unity and friendship was everywhere.

Inspiring Speakers & Powerful Sessions
Each day was packed with dynamic keynote speakers, including renowned Rotary leaders and change-makers from around the world. Their stories of resilience, innovation, and service ignited a spark in every attendee. The interactive group activities encouraged lively discussions, fresh ideas, and practical solutions for real-world challenges.

Celebrating Service & Making Connection
The conference was a showcase of Rotary’s impact-moving presentations highlighted successful projects that changed lives across the Caribbean.
RCCPOS Beetham Vibrations was featured and enjoyed at the airport and at fellowship pre-closing ceremony, and was thoroughly enjoyed during the closing programme
But the true magic happened in the hallways and social events, where friendships were forged, cultures shared, and future collaborations born.

Culture, Fun, and Lasting Memories
No Caribbean conference would be complete without a taste of local culture. Delegates enjoyed vibrant cultural nights, delicious cuisine, and rhythmic island music that kept everyone dancing late into the night. Let us not forget our own Tommy dancing with infectious Caribbean rhythms that had everyone smiling and swaying along as he was called upon stage to showcase his talent.

A Call to Action
As the conference drew to a close, there was a renewed sense of purpose. The collective energy and commitment to “Building Resilience Through the Magic of Rotary”- the 2025 conference theme-was evident. Attendees left inspired, empowered, and ready to make an even greater difference in their communities.
The Rotary District 7030 Conference 2025 was more than an event-it was an epic experience that united hearts, sparked ideas, and set the stage for a brighter future in Rotary and beyond.

RCCPOS Shines Bright Like a Diamond
Even more inspiring was the incredible wave of volunteerism from our members- Elitha, Alicia, Hans, Susan, Sylvana, Tania, Anne-Marie, Tanya, and many others whose names deserve to be celebrated-who gave their time and energy both before and during the event. Our modeling team shone brilliantly at the closing ceremony, showcasing the talent and creativity we nurture.
A proud highlight was receiving the prestigious Environment Award from the Environmental Sustainability Team, a testament to our unwavering commitment.
RCCPOS stood at the forefront, leading the way with the impactful Operation Pollination signage, proudly unveiled by the three incoming District Governors alongside RI Representative Patrick.
Speaking of Patrick, his heartfelt special request to visit the Garden With Wings-the only project he and his wife toured during their time in Trinidad-was a touching moment.
At the opening event, he lavished tremendous praise on Garden With Wings, underscoring its significance and the profound impact it has made.

Conclusion
I found myself reflecting on the incredible journey we all shared. The conference was more than just an event-it was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when passionate individuals come together with a common purpose. The friendships forged, the ideas exchanged, and the collective commitment to service have left an indelible mark on my heart. This epic experience has not only energized me but also reaffirmed my dedication to Rotary’s mission of creating lasting change in our communities and beyond. Until we meet again in April 2026 in St Lucia, I carry with me the spirit of Rotary-ready to serve, lead, and inspire.
