With a $5,000 jackpot up for grabs, anticipation was high from the very first game.
Past President Tanya Western wasted no time setting the tone for the evening, kicking things off with a win in the first round of Bingo to loud cheers and playful banter from the enthusiastic “Bingo fraternity.”

The friendly competition continued throughout the night, with Elitha claiming the coveted door prize and Alicia coming tantalisingly close to securing the consolation prize, “almost!” as many joked.
But beyond the prizes and playful rivalry, the event was truly about community.
Guests were treated to vibrant live music from the Beetham Vibrations Steel Orchestra, whose sweet steelpan melodies added the perfect rhythm to an already electric atmosphere. The combination of great music, camaraderie and good-natured jokes created an evening that many described as “totally enjoyable.”
Special recognition was given to Susan for her stellar coordination efforts, alongside the talented members of Beetham Vibrations, whose performance reminded everyone exactly why the fundraiser mattered. The night was a celebration not just of Bingo, but of culture, youth development and community spirit.
The support from the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain (RCCPOS) was described as tremendous. Members and friends showed up in full force, attending, soliciting prizes from companies, donating generously and contributing toward the jackpot cash. Their collective effort ensured the event’s success both socially and financially.
Behind the scenes, Leslie was praised for meticulously overseeing all cash transactions throughout the evening and carefully checking and summarising the accounts at the end, an effort that did not go unnoticed.
Above all, the night reflected gratitude and unity. Organisers expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed in any way, whether through sponsorship, donations, attendance or simple encouragement.

As the final numbers were called and the hall slowly emptied, one thing was certain: the fundraiser was more than a game night. It was a joyful reminder of what can happen when community, culture and generosity come together for a worthy cause.
And if the laughter and applause were any indication, the next Bingo event is already highly anticipated.
