For over two decades, the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain (RCCPOS) has stood beside the All in One Child Development Centre in Beetham- not just as a benefactor, but as a committed partner in the education and well-being of its students.

This long-standing relationship has seen the Club provide vital school supplies, computers, library books, Christmas toys, and even complete air-conditioning of the entire school. But this year, the impact reached new heights.

Recognising the need for a refreshed learning environment, RCCPOS embarked on a bold new initiative: a full-scale repainting of the school. At the helm of this effort was the Club’s Director of Service Projects, Richard Thomas, whose hands-on leadership and unwavering commitment brought the vision to life. With meticulous planning, collaboration, and the spirit of Rotary service, Richard ensured every brushstroke served a greater purpose. “This isn’t just about paint,” said Thomas. “It’s about dignity, pride, and giving the students a space that reflects the value we place on their future.”

The project would not have been possible without a groundswell of support. Special thanks go to Mr. Selvyn C Lewis, Managing Director of Home Front Colour Studio, who generously donated the paint needed to transform the school’s walls from tired to vibrant. His contribution turned vision into reality, providing the materials that formed the canvas for change.

Equally commendable was the selfless commitment of the school’s Principal, Charmaine Anderson, who gave up personal vacation time to be present every day, ensuring the work was done with care and precision. This act of dedication exemplified the unity between school leadership and community service, an alignment that amplifies every effort.

And then there were the painters who proved to be a team of professionals whose craftsmanship was nothing short of outstanding. Their work didn’t just beautify a building; it elevated a space where minds are shaped and futures are forged. To them, we extend deep gratitude for an exceptional job, executed with excellence and pride.

The freshly painted walls now stand as a testament to what sustained service, collaboration, and compassion can accomplish. More than a facelift, this project was a reaffirmation of RCCPOS’s enduring commitment to the youth of Beetham. It was a statement that the community, and its children, are not forgotten.

As the new school year begins, students will walk into a space that speaks loudly and clearly:
You matter. Your education matters. Your environment matters.

This is the Rotary way. And this is what twenty years of dedication looks like.
