Celebrating Kerry-Ann Erskine: Bringing Financial Expertise and Fresh Vision to Beetham Vibrations
This quarter, we shine the spotlight on our Treasurer, Kerry-Ann Erskine, whose financial expertise and willingness to serve continue to make a meaningful contribution to our Club and its community projects.

Kerry-Ann brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance to her role as Treasurer. However, her commitment to service extends beyond the numbers. Following the recent departure of the previous committee chair, she stepped forward to take on the leadership of the Beetham Vibrations Steel Orchestra Management Committee, embracing a new area of focus with enthusiasm and determination.
Although this is a new undertaking for Kerry-Ann, she has already begun making connections, introducing fresh ideas and helping to strengthen the structure and organization of the orchestra’s operations. Her contributions have been well received by our Club’s Board, as well as our project partners, the IATF and the Beetham Community Council. The orchestra’s arranger has also welcomed her ideas, and we look forward to seeing how these initiatives translate into greater opportunities and benefits for the players.
Looking ahead, one of the next steps is a community walkabout aimed at attracting new members to the orchestra. By reaching out to more children and families, the initiative seeks to expand participation, nurture young talent and extend the orchestra’s positive impact throughout the Beetham community and beyond.
Kerry-Ann’s willingness to step outside her familiar area of expertise, embrace new challenges and work collaboratively with our partners exemplifies the spirit of service that Rotary celebrates. As she helps chart a new course for Beetham Vibrations, we are confident that her contribution will help create fresh opportunities for the orchestra and the young people it serves.
Congratulations, Kerry-Ann, and thank you for stepping up, bringing fresh perspectives and helping us create lasting impact!
