Welcome to the Rotary Family, Delicia
Attorney, lecturer, mentor and former Rotaractor Delicia Helwig-Robertson brings professional depth and a longstanding commitment to service to RCCPOS.

An Attorney-at-Law, lecturer, mentor, entrepreneur and passionate advocate for service, Delicia brings a wealth of professional, community and leadership experience to the Club. With more than 12 years in criminal defence, she currently serves as a Senior Public Defender II with the Legal Aid and Advisory Authority, where she advocates for equal access to justice while mentoring and developing the next generation of legal practitioners. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer in Criminal Justice at The University of the West Indies and is pursuing an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Delicia’s commitment to service extends well beyond the courtroom. She is actively involved in youth mentorship and community outreach, serves as a Board Director of Vision on Mission, and contributes to the Aquatics Sports Association of Trinidad and Tobago as a National Technical Official and member of its Technical Officials Committee. She is passionate about developing people, strengthening organisations and creating systems that help communities and institutions work more effectively.
Service is, in fact, a familiar part of Delicia’s journey. She previously spent six years in Rotaract, serving in leadership roles including Community Service Director, International Service Director and Vice President. Her induction into RCCPOS therefore represents a welcome return to the Rotary family and a continuation of her longstanding commitment to service and fellowship.
Away from her many professional and community commitments, Delicia is a wife and proud mother of three children, whom she considers among her greatest privileges. Her family reinforces her belief in investing in people, strengthening communities and creating a better future for the next generation.
We are excited to have Delicia as part of our team and look forward to the energy, ideas, experience and fellowship she will bring to RCCPOS.

Welcome, Delicia! All hands are on deck!
