Mr. Leslie Bowrin, Head, Social Performance at British Gas (BG), spoke to the membership about a project on which the Rotary Club of Central POS could partner with BG over the next couple years.
With funding in excess of $1 million and titled Making Life Important (MLI), the program is an “after school programme” with the aim of offering psychological testing, counseling education support, field trips and exposure to a different way of life. Beetham Gardens is the targeted community and the venue to house the initiative is to be the Excel secondary school.
