What happens when the energy of Rotary’s youth meets the global reach of UNICEF?

The result is the Young Caribbean Minds Network, a vibrant, youth-led movement powered by Rotary Interact Clubs across the Caribbean.

This groundbreaking partnership places Interactors at the center of regional change. Since its launch in 2023, the initiative has already impacted over 200,000 young people, demonstrating the strength of collaboration between Rotary International’s youth arm and one of the world’s leading child-focused organisations.

Through YCMN, Interact Clubs in more than 17 Caribbean countries are stepping beyond traditional service and into advocacy, leadership, and regional influence. Selected Interactors, aged 13–15, serve as national youth advocates, amplifying the voices of their peers, promoting mental health awareness, and supporting child protection initiatives.

Equally important are the Interact adult mentors, who guide and support these young leaders. Their role reflects Rotary’s commitment to mentorship, safeguarding, and sustainable youth development- ensuring that every participant thrives in a safe and empowering environment.

This partnership is more than symbolic- it is deeply practical and impactful.

Interactors are contributing to regional programmes alongside organisations such as the United Nations, CARICOM, and the OECS, helping to shape resources that will be used in schools and communities throughout the Caribbean. From virtual training sessions to youth-led campaigns, they are actively building a stronger, more informed generation.

For Rotary, this is a powerful example of service in action. It showcases how Interact Clubs are not only participating in community projects but are also influencing regional dialogue and driving meaningful change.

The Young Caribbean Minds Network is a reminder that when Rotary invests in young people, the impact extends far beyond the club—it transforms communities, strengthens partnerships, and shapes the future of the region.
