The St. Anthony’s College Interact Club hosted an exciting lunchtime activity titled Adventure Quest on February 27th, bringing together students from across the school in a spirit of teamwork, learning, and friendly competition.

 

Students participated in teams of five, consisting of both Interactors and non-Interact students from Forms 1 to 6.

 

Teams worked their way around the school compound, solving riddles and completing challenges based on subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Visual Arts, History, and Music. The activity concluded with a final puzzle challenge that tested teamwork, memory, and focus. One Form 5 group emerged victorious, earning the first-place prize of a bucket of KFC and medals.

 

Adventure Quest also served as a fundraiser, raising $400.00, which contributed to the school’s celebration of International Women’s Day. On March 9, female members of staff were honoured with cake and ice cream as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication to the school community. Interact students served as hosts for the event, distributing the treats and helping to create a warm and celebratory atmosphere. The celebration also featured a lively teacher jeopardy game, which brought laughter and friendly competition among the staff.

 

Finally, on March 4th, the school hosted a "Peace Pole Installation Ceremony", attended by Soraya Gustave‑Warner, District Governor of Rotary District 7030, along with Rotary executives and members, and executives of St. Anthony’s College.

 

During the ceremony, speakers reflected on the significance of the peace pole and its message of hope, unity, and global peace, encouraging students to continue promoting respect and understanding within their community.

 

Together, these activities highlight the strong spirit of service and leadership fostered at the school, demonstrating how student-led initiatives can bring learning, appreciation, and community engagement to life.
