As we close another remarkable Rotary year, we, the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain, extend heartfelt thanks to every Rotarian, partner, educator, parent, and supporter who contributed to the success of our Youth Service programmes.
 
Your encouragement, mentorship, and commitment have helped create meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and serve.
 

This year was filled with exciting milestones. We proudly chartered the Interact Club of St. Mary’s College (CIC), welcoming a new generation of young leaders into the Rotary family. We also successfully revitalised the Interact Club of St. Anthony’s College, strengthening opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, engage in service, and make a positive impact within their school and community.

We are especially proud of the EarlyAct Club of Laventille Boys’ Government Primary School, which, in its very first year of existence, earned a District Excellence Award for Community and Inclusion. This outstanding achievement reflects the enthusiasm, dedication, and service-minded spirit of the students, as well as the support of their teachers and mentors. Their success demonstrates the powerful impact that youth service can have from an early age.

These achievements would not have been possible without the dedication of our teacher liaisons. Their guidance, patience, and unwavering support have been instrumental in helping our clubs thrive. The Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain expresses sincere appreciation for their investment of time and energy in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

Youth Service remains one of Rotary’s greatest investments. The young people we mentor today will become the changemakers, professionals, community leaders, and Rotarians of the future. By empowering them with opportunities to serve, we are helping to build a stronger, more compassionate, and more peaceful world.

As we look ahead, Rotarians are encouraged to continue supporting our youth programmes by volunteering as mentors, attending club events, sharing professional expertise, sponsoring projects, and simply showing up to encourage our young leaders. Every interaction has the potential to inspire a young person and strengthen their connection to Service Above Self.

Thank you for helping make this a successful year for Youth Service. Together, we are not only serving our communities, but we are also cultivating the next generation of Rotary leaders.
